Igor's Adventures With The Mad Scientist Conveyors
Conveyors and Switching Conveyors

There are several forms of conveyor belts:

Continuously running conveyor belts are always running.Whenever some moveable object (vines and scurries avoid these) is pushed on a running conveyor, it will move the entire length of the conveyor and off the end in one turn (unless it is blocked at some point along the path). If conveyors change directions, objects moving along the conveyor will be rotated.

Powered conveyors run when the corresponding switch is turned ‘on’. There are four color switches: Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue. The powered conveyors are color coded, so you can determine which switch controls which powered conveyor.

Bi-directional conveyors only run when something is pushed (or steps) on it. The conveyor will move in the direction of the white arrow, then the arrow will change direction. The next object entering the conveyor will be pushed in the opposite direction.

Omni-directional conveyors only run when something is pushed (or steps) on it. The conveyor will move in the direction that the object moved when entering the conveyor.

Omni-turn conveyors only run when something is pushed (or steps) on it. The conveyor will move either to the ‘right’ or the ‘left’ of the direction that the object moved when entering the conveyor. Hence an object entering an omni-turn conveyor from one direction will be moved off the conveyor in a different direction. Some of the omni-turn conveyors are color coded to match power switches. The direction of turn will change when the corresponding power switch is turned on or off.
