Hydraulic Floors are normally raised, so they are impassable. When something steps on the correct touchplate, the corresponding hydraulic floors are lowered, so that objects can pass over the hydraulic floor.
The top of a hydraulic floor also contains a touchplate, so if something steps on a hydraulic floor tile while it is lowered, it will remain lowered even if the original touchplate becomes unoccupied.
There are four colors of hydraulic floor: Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue, corresponding to the four colors of touchplate.
