Touchplates are used to control hydraulic floors. All movables can step on a touchplate.

There are four colors of touchplate: Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue. The top of the hydraulic floor is also a touchplate, so if an object is pushed onto a lowered hydraulic floor, it will keep the floors of that color down. When an object is resting on a touchplate, the corresponding hydraulic floor sections are lowered. When the object moves off the touchplate, the hydraulic floors are raised.
